The Carrier WeatherMaker® 50TC rooftop units are high-efficiency electric cooling packaged units designed for commercial and industrial applications. These units are available in five models ranging from 21.48 kW (6.1 nominal tons) to 42.5 kW (12.5 nominal tons) of cooling capacity.

The 50TC units feature a sleek and innovative design focused on ease of installation, maintenance, and operation. They use environmentally-friendly Puron® (R-410A) refrigerant and are equipped with scroll compressors for improved efficiency and serviceability.

The evaporator coils are constructed with copper tubes and aluminum fins in a 10mm rifled turbo-pass fin (RTPF) design for enhanced heat transfer. The condenser coils also feature a 10mm RTPF design with copper tubes and aluminum fins.

The units have centrifugal fans for the evaporator section and direct-drive propeller fans for the condenser section. Multiple fan motor and static pressure options are available to suit different application requirements.
